I picked this model after my friend’s recommendations. He uses it for patrolling the boarder in NM and says that there were some nights when they managed to detect activity from a distance of 1km in the desert with ATN NVB8x-CGT. He was impressed with the unit. He sometimes exaggerates facts but I decided to give it a chance to test this product by myself.

I am holding this puppy here in my hands right now and I will use it on board my vessel. There have not been any chance to test it at sea but so far it performs well. The 8x lens is relatively lightweight considering the size and it can be screwed onto a tripod. This is important feature to me. I would recommend NVB8x-CGTI to all my mates at sea. Thumbs up!
Forum: Binoculars

I don’t like complex equipment, which is hard to use. This binocular looks like it was made especially for me – simple, reliable, waterproof and shock proof. Rubberized body… Everything matches description in ads. Honestly I am not very experienced in using this kind of equipment but my friend who is currently in law enforcement says it is worth the price and he recommend it to me. The optics are good and clear, and very easy to use.
Forum: Binoculars

I am going camping in the desert in June and we are planning to be hiking at night sometimes. It tends to be too hot during the day time in that area. So recently I had ordered the ATN Viper; I am sure night vision goggles will come useful. I have not tried the unit in the field yet but my first impression is that I did not waste my money. It is compact, lightweight and easily adjustable. I tested the Viper in the dark outside my house and it worked very well. I will update my review when I am back. Thank you!
Forum: Rifle Scopes

Hello.

I made the inquiry about Trijicon scopes and several e-shops told me that they can not ship these products to Europe due to export regulation reasons. Can you please specify these reasons? My address is in France. Thank you.

My question is about this Bushnell Elite 3200. Does it come with a sunshade? And is there any chance to change reticles?
